01-SFSU City College of San Francisco (CCSF)

City College of San Francisco is the largest community college in all of California. First opened in 1935, CCSF offers over 50 academic programs and over 100 work training programs. Students can earn their Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) degrees. Many students earn credits to transfer to four-year colleges and universities after. The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) was founded in 1969 and has four campuses throughout California. The San Francisco campus is located in Union Square. Students can take courses in beauty, entertainment, fashion, graphic design, and interior design. 03-SFSU San Francisco State University (SFSU)

San Francisco State University (SFSU or SF State) is one of the 23 California State University system schools. The school offers 118 Bachelor’s degrees, 94 Master’s degrees, and 5 Doctoral degrees. 04-SFAI San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI)

San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI), established in 1871, is one of the oldest art schools in the United States. Its main campus is located in the Russian Hill district of San Francisco. The school offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Arts and Fine Arts. Departments include studies of design & technology, film, new genres, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. 05-UCSFUniversity of California, San Francisco (UCSF)

University of California, San Francisco is part of the University of California system. Established in 1873, this university only offers graduate programs, specifically those in the health and biomedical sciences. The UCSF Medical Center has been considered one of the top hospitals in the United States, year after year. It is also known as one of the top medical schools in the US.
