Lena’s love of real estate and old homes began when she was 8 years old. She wondered why beautiful old homes were being torn down to make way for modern high rises. Lena had the opportunity to buy her first Victorian property in San Francisco as a partner in a TIC, and she has owned and renovated many properties over the last 20 years.
After working for over 30 years in retail for Macy's, Gap, Chico's and J.Jill, Lena honed her leadership, customer service, human resources, and project management skills and decided to take those skills to real estate.
Lena is a licensed real estate agent and is also a Public Notary.
Lena is a long-time resident of Marin County and San Francisco. She was born in Sweden and grew up in Sydney, Australia, and Marin County. She attended Sir Francis Drake High School and received her B.A. in International Studies from Dominican University in San Rafael. After finishing her degree, she spent a year working in Hong Kong and the P.R. China.
